Strengthening Ocean Management and Sustainable Finance in Fiji

This grant is supporting Fiji in expanding marine protection across its national waters. A consortium of local NGOs, coordinated by the Fiji government and with the support of Charities Aid Foundation America, are strengthening marine conservation while working closely with coastal communities and the fishing sector. Funding also supports nature-positive enterprises such as aquaculture, waste management, and eco-tourism. A new national MPA implementation fund has been established with the Waitt Foundation to support management and investment.
