The Glasgow Climate Summit didn’t solve the climate problem, but it significantly raised the chances that it will be solved. The direction of change is now clear and action is accelerating, but still far from the pace required. We are committed to helping close that gap.
Working with partners, the Bezos Earth Fund will remove barriers and catalyze investment at scale with the goal of making change irresistible and unstoppable.
At COP26, we announced an additional $2 billion for nature, enabling major new programs in restoring landscapes, and in food system transformation. We are also honored to be a founding partner of the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, launched in Glasgow.
Momentum is building and we all must do more.
