To advance the goal of effectively protecting the Eastern Tropical Pacific Marine Corridor, the Bezos Earth Fund granted $2.85M to MigraMar in late 2022. Over the next four years, MigraMar will:

1) Develop and implement a regional monitoring platform for the existing network of open water marine protected areas,
2) Continue to build data on the population status and movement ecology of endangered marine species, and

3) Design a regional, climate-smart blueprint of regulatory, conservation, and spatial measures to reverse the population decline of endangered marine species across the Eastern Tropical Pacific.
