Eileen Dekker is Head of Communications at the Bezos Earth Fund, where she gets to tell stories about climate solutions and progress — from the grants and programs driving change to the scientists, leaders, and changemakers behind them.
Prior to joining, she spent more than 13 years at communications agencies, most recently as Associate Managing Director at HUNTER, where she led strategic communications programming across a range of Amazon businesses, products, and services. Over her seven years at the firm, she also established and built out the Sustainability & Community Impact practice supporting Amazon, leading communications for key initiatives such as the launch of Amazon's electric delivery vans and electric heavy-duty trucking fleets, investments in energy and carbon neutralization solutions, sustainable packaging innovations, disaster relief and food security initiatives, The Climate Pledge, and more. Earlier in her career, she worked across a range of premium consumer lifestyle brands at M Booth, including The Macallan, Campari, and Leica Camera, driving integrated and award-winning campaigns, product launches, and events.
She holds a bachelor's degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
