Maxime Nzita

Head of Strategic Partnerships at WCS and Advisor for the Bezos Earth Fund in the Congo Basin

Maxime Nzita is the Congo Basin Advisor at the Bezos Earth Fund and Congo Basin Regional Head of Strategic Partnership at Wildlife Conservation Society.

Previously, Maxime was the Regional Head of Mission in Libreville, Gabon for the European Commission’s ECOFAC6 Program – a green economy initiative for conservation in priority landscapes across Africa. Before that, he served two terms as the Co-Facilitator of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership between the European Union and Belgium. Maxime has more than 18 years of experience in natural resource management and conservation in Central and East Africa.

He holds an MBA from IAE Paris Sorbonne Business School and a B.S. degree in Agro Economics and Engineering from Université of Kinshasa.
