Since its founding, the Bezos Earth Fund has known the potential for AI to multiply impact for climate change mitigation and nature loss solutions. The Earth Fund has brought together practitioners across climate, nature, and AI to build community within the space and inform the design of the AI for Climate and Nature Grand Challenge. Through this work, the Earth Fund supported the development of three reports that offer insights on the landscape of climate, nature, and AI. The Grand Challenge is exploring new ideas that will build upon work already happening across the globe, to scale impact of climate and nature solutions using modern AI.

These reports and other resources are available to Grand Challenge applicants as they develop their proposals for the first round of awards. To learn more, visit the resources page of the Grand Challenge website. Proposal submissions are due via the Grand Challenge website by August 13, 2024.

Three new publications offer insights on connections between climate, nature, and AI
