Sound Sense: Global Wildlife Listening Network

A new AI system will detect wildlife and threats to wildlife in real time.

Cornell University’s Lab of Ornithology will build an AI system to monitor wildlife using audio recordings in biodiversity hotspots. It will detect species and threats like poaching, providing real-time data for conservation.
